Everything you need to know before starting your nutrition journey.
If you’re thinking about booking but still have questions, you’re not alone.
Here are some of the most common things clients ask before starting their first consultation.
All my programmes begin with a 90-minute session where we discuss your health history, current symptoms, daily habits and barriers, and goals. You'll have completed a health questionnaire before the appointment and we use this as a basis.
You’ll receive your personalised nutrition recommendations and plan within 48 hours of the first appointment. It contains what we discussed and is complete with practical recommendations and lifestyle tips.
Each session is a two way conversation, not a lecture - you’ll be supported every step of the way.
You can read more about this process on the [Your Nutritional Consultation] page.
Yes. I work with women across the UK (and internationally) via Zoom.
Online sessions are just as effective as in-person ones - they’re ideal if you’re juggling work, family, or distance.
In-person appointments are available in Maidenhead, for those who prefer a face-to-face setting.
Most likely, yes.
I work with a wide range of women’s health concerns including:
- Hormonal balance, PMS, and PCOS
- Perimenopause and menopause
- Gut health and digestion
- Low energy, fatigue, or burnout
- Fertility, pregnancy, and postnatal recovery
- Stress, emotional eating, and mood support
- Oncology nutrition
If you’re unsure, a short discovery call is the perfect place to discuss your needs.
It depends on your goals and how much support you’d like.
Some women book a single [Nutritional Power Hour] to get quick guidance, while others choose ongoing [1-to-1 Nutrition Support] for deeper change.
Most clients benefit from an initial consultation followed by three review sessions.
Only when necessary.
I take a food-first approach and will suggest supplements only if they’re genuinely beneficial and safe for your specific situation.
You’ll receive clear dosage and brand recommendations - no guesswork or unnecessary costs.
I offer a 10% discount on supplements purchased via the Natural Dispensary and I do make a small commission myself.
I often collaborate with GPs, consultants, and other healthcare practitioners to ensure your nutrition plan complements your medical care safely.
With your consent, I can share relevant updates or receive information from your medical team.
Nutritional Therapy is not a substitute for medical advice. Nutritional Therapists cannot treat, cure or diagnose you and so working alongside the medical profession is highly recommended.
Session costs vary depending on the service:
- Nutritional Power Hour are £125
- 1-to-1 Nutrition Support: Initial 90-minute consultation plus follow-ups as needed start from £300
Full details are provided during your discovery call or on booking.
Payments are made in advance via secure online payment and there are options for installment payments on the higher priced programmes
