Oncology Nutrition
Gentle, evidence-informed nutrition support during and after cancer treatment.

It is widely acknowledged that nutritional therapy is a valuable tool at any of the stages of cancer be it for prevention, prior to treatment, during treatment or beyond.
Cancer treatment places extraordinary demands on the body. Side effects such as fatigue, appetite changes, weight changes or digestive discomfort can make eating feel like a challenge - just when good nutrition matters most.
Through personalised nutrition, I can support you in finding ways to nourish your body, support your energy, and make food feel manageable and enjoyable again.
Who This Is For?
You may be:
• Looking at cancer prevention for health optimisation or because you have a family history of cancer
• Currently receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy
• Recovering from treatment and wanting to regain strength
• Experiencing changes in taste, appetite, or digestion
• Dealing with fatigue, low mood, or reduced appetite
• Unsure what foods to eat (or avoid) during recovery
• Wanting to rebuild your confidence and connection with food
• On long term cancer medications and need ongoing support
• In remission and looking to reduce risk of relapse
If you’re ready for gentle, practical support that works alongside your medical care, we’ll take this one step at a time - with compassion and care.
How It Works
We’ll start with a 90-minute consultation where I’ll take the time to understand your diagnosis, treatment history, and current challenges.
From there, I’ll create a personalised nutrition plan that may include:
• Nourishing meal ideas that are easy to digest and energy-boosting
• Support for appetite, taste changes, or swallowing difficulties
• Guidance on maintaining a healthy weight and strength
• Nutrients to support immune function and tissue repair
• Emotional and lifestyle support around food and recovery
Every recommendation will be food-first, realistic, and aligned with your current medical care plan.
Why Nutrition Matters During & After Cancer Treatment
Receiving a cancer diagnosis is life changing and many people may understandably feel a loss of control over their life and decision making. My aim is to support you in regaining some of that control through food, lifestyle suggestions and self care
Nutrition can play an important role in helping the body recover from treatment and manage side effects more comfortably.
It can help to:
• Maintain energy and strength
• Support the immune system
• Support digestive symptoms like nausea or bloating
• Promote tissue healing and recovery
• Rebuild confidence and a positive relationship with food
Good nutrition doesn’t mean restriction. It’s about finding what feels nourishing, comforting, and supportive to your body right now.

Ready to rebuild your strength and confidence with gentle nutrition support?
Nutritional therapy is not designed to diagnose, treat or cure any disease, including cancer. Oncology nutrition can never provide any guarantees but evidence does strongly suggest it may support symptoms and quality of life.
It is important to understand that nutrition support for cancer is not an alternative to medical treatment and works best alongside your oncology treatment plan and I always aim to work collaboratively with oncology services.
Absolutely. I’m happy to liaise with your care team to ensure any nutritional advice complements your treatment safely.
We’ll take things slowly, focusing on gentle, nourishing options and small steps that make eating feel easier.
